Tim Lawrence - Goalie Coach
Bio
Tim is from Orlando, Florida where he help to start the lacrosse team at Olympia High School. He was a four year varsity starter, 2x Team MVP, 2x Team Captain, 2005 All-Metro Goalie of the Year, and a member of the Team Florida All-Stars Club.
Tim began his coaching career as the Head Boys Varsity lacrosse coach at Colonial High School, earning awards as the 2011 OCPS Bob Demeree Coach of the Year, as well as the 2011 OCPS Rookie Coach of the Year. Over the next 8 years, he also coached as an Assistant at Ocoee High School and Goalie Coach at Windermere High School.
In 2019, he moved to Austin, Texas and began coaching Girl’s Lacrosse as the Assistant Coach and Goalie Coach at Anderson High School, as well as with the GRIT Lacrosse Club. At Anderson, Tim helped lead the team to 3rd place in the State Final Four in 2021, and the 2022 State Championship with an undefeated 17-0 record.
Goalies that Tim has coached have played at all levels of college lacrosse and also gone on to represent their countries on the Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic National Teams.
