Malorie grew up in Central New York where she played goalie for Skaneateles High School in Skaneateles, New York. Mal helped lead the Lakers to Sectionals and Regionals all four years, including a state runner-up appearance junior year and winning a State Champion senior year where she was named to the all-tournament team… She was also named to the All-CNY team her senior year.
After high school, Mal went on to be a four-year starter for local Rollins College. During her time at Rollins, she was named to the Sunshine State Conference Spring Commissioner’s Honor Roll and Athletic Director’s Honor Roll all four years.
During her freshman year, she was named Sunshine State Conference Co-Freshman of the Year as well as Sunshine State Conference Tournament MVP. She was named Second Team All-SSC three times, Second Team All-South Region three Times, SSC Defensive player of the week numerous times all four years, IWCLA National Defensive Player of the Week twice her senior year, and was named First Team All SSC, First Team All-South Region, and Third Team All American her sophomore year. Mal is currently the all-time career saves record holder at Rollins College.
