Callie started playing lacrosse as a freshman at Oviedo High School and for Lax Maniax during her Junior & Senior year. After high school, she became a member of Saint Leo University’s Women’s Lacrosse Team. Porcher was a dynamic player who played on both the defense and offense. Over the course of her career, she maintained a shot percentage of 82% and tallied an average of 4 ground balls per game. She spent her last year of eligibility playing for American International college in the NE-10, where she was a dual-sport athlete playing both Tennis and Lacrosse. During her Summers while at school, she was the head of the women’s lacrosse program for MB Nike Sports Camps. She was the Varsity Head Coach at Olympia High School from 2020 – 2021 but has since taken over as the Head Coach at Lake Buena Vista to begin a new program.
Callie has coached the 2028’s – 2030’s for M&D Orlando from 2019 – Summer 2021. Starting August 2021, she will take on a new role as the Youth Program Director for the club and will oversee all players, 2029 & younger. Callie’s energy and experience with our youth teams make her the perfect fit for this role. She will be working to introduce younger players and families to club lacrosse by transitioning them from the rec level.
