An Orlando native, began her career as a defensive player for Dr. Phillips (“DP”) High School Lacrosse team. At DP she was named All-Metro during her senior season and named team MVP.  Immediately after played for Greensboro College. Her freshman year she started all 18 games on attack tallying 7 points and 8 ground balls. In her sophomore campaign, she started all 16 games scoring 17 goals, adding 4 assists along with 23 ground balls. Junior year, she started and played in all 14 games, scored 34 goals, and had 13 assists,  49 ground balls, 55 draw controls, and 44 CTO’s. In her senior year, she was named Captain, and recorded 22 goals & 12 assists. 

Amira coached the JV Lacrosse Team at Lake Highland Prep in 2019 before recently taking on the role of Varsity Assistant Coach at Lake Mary High School for the 2021 Season. 

Amira has been with M&D Orlando for 3 years, since the start of the program, and has coached the 2024 Black Team for two of those years.
