Mia is from the Orlando area and played high school lacrosse at Dr. Phillips High School. After high school, she continued her career at Lees-McRae College (DII) where she played all four years breaking numerous Conference Carolina records. In 2015, she set the record for single-season saves with 155, and then in 2016, broke her own record with 175 saves on the season. From 2013 – 2016 she totaled 590 saves (10.5 saves per game) and ended with a 44% save percentage overall. She still holds the #1 spot for total saves and saves per game. She currently coaches at Windmere Preparatory School where she helped bring the team to their first-ever undefeated season in 2019. She specializes in goalie and defensive training.
