Melissa Villanti - 2028 Black Co-HC
Bio
Melissa is from Rochester, New York, a part of a New York State Class C powerhouse, Honeoye Falls-Lima. She was a 3 time state finalist throughout her High School career. She went on to play Division 1 Lacrosse at High Point University in North Carolina, winning the Big South Championship her freshman year.
She has coached at Southwest Guilford High School, Honeoye Falls-Lima High School, Panther Lacrosse Club, and Monster Elite Lacrosse Club. She spent her summers playing for LadyRoc lacrosse club, a nationally recognized club organization out of Rochester.
Melissa has been the Offensive Coordinator for the Girls Varsity Lacrosse program at Lake Highland Prep, and the Director of Operations for Sol Blazers Lacrosse, a Non-Profit Youth Lacrosse Program in Orlando since 2018. In the past four years at Lake Highland Prep, Melissa has coached alongside Chris Robinson as his Assistant and has helped lead the team to the 2019 Florida State Championship & 2nd in State in 2021 with a 20-1 overall record.
In the Summer of 2021, Melissa was named Youth Coach of the Year by Corrigan Sports.
