Taylor is a native of Ocean City, Maryland where she was a four-time varsity letter earner for the women’s lacrosse team at Stephen Decatur High School. Taylor played club lacrosse for CCLax in Annapolis, Maryland, where she made the All-Galaxy team twice, and helped her team to be two-time National Draw Champions.

Taylor attended the University of Richmond, and was a two-time captain for the women’s lacrosse team. She is a three-time First-Team All-Atlantic 10 performer, and added one Second-Team honor. In her senior year, she was named Atlantic 10 Conference Defensive Player of the Year, led the conference in draw controls, and was second in ground balls. She was also ranked third in the country by LaxPower.com for defenders. Currently, Taylor is a Senior Analyst of Digital Analytics at Universal Parks & Resort and is pursuing an Online Master of Science in Analytics degree from Georgia Tech. Taylor has a strong passion for coaching and encouraging the love of defense. She especially loves to break down the art of 1v1 defense and winning the draw control. She understands the competitiveness of women’s lacrosse and wants to bring that passion and expertise to Orlando.

Taylor has now coached for M&D Orlando for two years as the 2024 Black Assistant Coach.
